Mrs. Salome Wairimu Wangugi

Salome Wairimu Wangugi of Thogoto, Kikuyu, peacefully went to be with her Lord on March 10, 2021, at the age of 67.

Salome was born on October 20th, 1954 to parents Lucas Njiraini and Virginia Wanjiru. She devoted her life to the service of others and family.

Salome is survived by her husband Clement Wangugi Kirui, children, Virginia Wanjiru, David Kirui & Margaret Wanjiku, Mary Nduta & Dickson Kimani, and Lucas Njiraini & Alice Nyambura, brothers and sisters, Mary Wangiki, Joseph Kamau, William Gikahu, Rose Muthoni, John Ngugi, Jane Wangui, Simon Kariuki, and Daniel Mbugua.

She was a loving and caring grandma and auntie to many.

She was preceded in death by her father Lucas Njiraini, brothers and sisters, Peter Njoroge, Mathew Ngugi, and Cecilia Wanjiru.

Friends and family are meeting from 2:00 pm daily at her home in Thogoto Kikuyu for prayers and burial plans. The cortege leaves Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, March 16th, 2021 at 9:00 am for a church service at St. Kizito Catholic Church and thereafter she will be laid to rest at Langata Cemetery in Nairobi.

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. ~ 1 Thessalonians 4:14

Go thee well mum we shall surely miss you,we hoped to catch up on your release from hospital, nevertheless God did what He purposed ,and even though we never had enough of you ,your love, kindness, encouragement and sincere concern will forever linger in our memories-rest in peace dear MUM -God is still faithful May He assign duty with rest of the Angeles 🙏.
